Frozen Planet
Last night, on BBC 1 at 9pm, the first episode of David Attenborough’s new series “Frozen Planet” caused me to say “wow” out loud – or WOL as the text generation might say!
Natural history programmes are not always my first choice for relaxing at home viewing. On this occasion the vastness, whiteness, blueness, coldness, freshness of the Arctic and Antarctic locations looked awesome (and not in a text generation way).
In particular, the footage (millions of tiny fish filled with anti-freeze!) that the under ice diving team captured was just beautiful.

Watching the killer whales flipping the seal of the ice flow made me realise that without weapons the human race would not have survived! The creativity of the natural world is just fantastic! Inspiring.
