If you appreciate moody skies and evocative seascapes, now is a good time to visit The Village (local pub) in Leith.
The Village’s current exhibition is by Midlothian based artist Newton Ross (one of my friends from the Leith School of Art) and is an exciting new series of Scotland inspired paintings.
Newton’s love of Scotland is clearly evident in his work and his paintings capture the constantly changing nature of land, sea and sky.
The exhibition runs until Saturday 23rd June ‘12.
