In October, in Scotland, there isn’t usually much call for sunscreen – in fact at the height of summer in Scotland there isn’t usually much call for sunscreen! However, there was a day this year (Saturday 2nd July to be precise) when I got sun-burnt.
It was a good day, I was in the park with a book and the summer sun was glorious. Later in the evening, with my bright red arms glowing like beacons, I realised that sunscreen would have been a sensible idea!
My experience reminded me of the “Wear Sunscreen” song. A Google search will give you all the background story on that, or “everbody’s free” to give me a call and I’ll tell you what I know.
If you haven’t heard it in a while, I heartily recommend taking a 5-minute time out with this You Tube video.
